Cousins' debut went well. Great pic (from BR tweet below).

Anthony Slater in the Athletic covers it best, but the Sporting Green sums things about right.

When it comes to DeMarcus Cousins taking the floor as a Warrior for the first time, Draymond Green sees the glass half full.
Other Warrior voices have been more restrained, but there's no doubt the team is relishing this new chapter in the Golden State story.
From the get-go, talk inside the Warriors camp was about USA basketball and how Curry, Klay, Draymond and KD enjoyed playing with Cousins - and vice versa. That's still the vibe. There's a ton of respect and a desire to do something special with this insanely unique moment.
How fortunate is Cousins to be be able to rehab in a world-class, supportive environment (zero external return pressure) with the prospect of coming back for the ring-end of a dynastic-quality season? Comeback-wise, could there be a better scenario?
You should go back and review the way David West contributed during the last couple of years. Cousins taking that role to the next level is something the team can integrate quickly for success straight out of the block. Beyond that, Curry and KD at least are relishing the things they'll be able to accomplish as a group. Kerr was the first to say the Warriors have never had a big man of this caliber. This will be something for his legacy as well.

The Warriors have Cousin's back as he joins the group and are saying exactly that. Cousins has been part of the team since September already so there's already a working relationship.
My prediction for the sniping will be less about Cousins not helping Golden State but more about him and his prospects going forward. The haters will say he's not worth a max deal and teams would be making a mistake to chase him. I fully expect to hear that artfully and maliciously put forward.
For The Win
But I don't think it will stick. I think there will be moments for the history books.
It may be so much fun that Cousins will want to do it again next year in the Warriors shiny new arena.
Hold on tight. Things are about to get interesting.
